For security reasons, we encourage you to change your password after you start work at EdOps. After you change that password, you will need to update your password in Google Drive and Google Chrome.
The Google Chrome login is underappreciated. If your computer ever dies, the Google Chrome profile will transport all of your bookmarks and extensions to the new computer automatically.
Step 1) Pick a new password
- Please do not use a password that you have used in any other account
- If helpful, please review How to Create a Complex Password
- Select a password with strong complexity. It must have an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and a symbol.
- Use security.orgto ensure it has a complexity of at least 1 million years
Step 2) Change your password in Gmail
- In the top right corner of Gmail, click on the EdOps Icon with your user icon
- Click Manage Your Google Account
- In the left-hand pane, selcect "Security"
- Scroll down to Signing in to Google.
- Choose Password. You might need to sign in again.
- Enter your new password, then select Change Password.
Step 3) Update your password in Google Chrome and Google Drive
Google Chrome and Google Drive depend on these credentials. In testing, I did not have to update my password in those two softwares
